FAQ

Our Frequently Asked Questions page is here to give you clear answers about ADHD coaching, our resources, and how we work with clients across Ireland, the UK, and beyond.

If you’re new to ADHD coaching, you might be wondering: What is ADHD coaching? How is it different from therapy? Who is it for? How are sessions structured? This page covers all of that and more.

You’ll also find answers to practical questions, such as how to book a session, payment options, cancellations, and whether coaching is available online (it is, so you can join from anywhere). We also cover how coaching works for women with ADHD, late-diagnosed adults, and those without ADHD who want life coaching.

If you’re interested in our shop, the FAQ page also explains shipping, returns, and how to access digital downloads. You’ll find details about both our printed resources and apparel, including care instructions and delivery times for Ireland, the UK, and international orders.

Our aim is to make your experience smooth and stress-free, so you can spend more time focusing on your growth and less time worrying about logistics.

What is ADHD coaching?

ADHD coaching is a collaborative, practical process that helps you understand how your brain works and build a life that works with it.

It’s about setting goals, creating strategies that fit your unique style, and gently building motivation, self trust, and momentum. You're not broken, you're wired differently, and coaching supports you in using that wiring to your advantage.

How is coaching different from therapy or counselling?

Therapy and counselling often focus on healing emotional wounds or exploring your past. Coaching is future-focused: it’s about taking action, experimenting with what works, and building systems that support you.

Additionally, coaching is a partnership where you are the expert in you, my job is only to help you find your own solutions that work in your situation and with your brain. Clients find this empowering, building skills that are going to be applicable to many different areas.

Do I need to be officially diagnosed with ADHD?

Nope. Many of my clients are self-identified or exploring whether they might be ADHD or simply experience ADHD-like symptoms.

If the content I share resonates with your lived experience, you’re welcome in coaching, no diagnosis required.

Do you coach children or teens?

No. I work with adults only. If you are a parent of an ADHD child I am happy to coach you navigating the struggles of ADHD parenting, or refer a colleague that works with children or teens.

What happens in a coaching session?

Each session is a guided conversation where we focus on your goals, whether it’s sending that email you’ve been avoiding, untangling decision overwhelm, or building a sustainable routine.

You bring the topic. I bring the tools, structure, and support to help you move forward your way.
